Connection to Corfu airport is easy and cheap. Airport is located 2,8 km from city center of Corfu. To be strict name of the main town in Corfu island is Kerkyra. You can go by walk to airport because the pavement is along the entire route. However I recommend go to airport by bus number 15, which departs from Corfu Port via San Rocco Square ending in front of terminal. Cost of one-way normal ticket is 1,2 Euro.  If you want to use more public transport in one day I propose to buy all day ticket for 5 Euro.
