Sofia (IATA: SOF) is the main and the biggest airport in Bulgaria. In 2018 airport handled nearly 7 million passengers. There are two terminals which are not connected together. Moreover there is almost not possible to reach one terminal for second by walk. So it’s important to check from which terminal you have flight to use proper transport and go out on proper bus stop. Generally terminal 1 is for cheap airlines like Wizzair, EasyJet and terminal 2 is for traditional airlines and also for Ryanair.

Buses and metro operated between 5:30-23:30. So at night you can go to airport only via taxi.

Single trip ticket costs 1,6 BGN, a 24-hours ticket only 4 BGN
